Travelled from Australia to stay at this hotel for almost 6 weeks for work. The hotel was newly renovated so it was very clean, nice and comfortable. The staff were absolutely amazing. The buffet breakfast was always fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. I will definitely stay here again if I get a chance to visit in the future.

Amiable, friendly and helpful staff ! 👏🏻👏🏻 Breakfast was great, rooms were super nice. We booked for a large group, three of us with dietary restrictions ( lactose intolerance, food allergies, celiac disease) and they managed to accommodate everyone perfectly! Highly recommended hotel, plus the location is strategic so to say. Around 30 minutes to Milan (with train or car), very close to Swiss border and surrounded by pretty lakes.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was nice, the room was clean and the view from the balcony (on the side facing Lake Varese and the snowcapped mountains) was magnificent. Look forward to staying there again if we get the chance!

Spent a night at the Hotel Ungheria on our motorcycle trip in July 2020. Upon arrival we were greeted with kindness from all staff members. A safe car/motorcycle parking is available behind the hotel. They have a bar / terrace at the front. Rooms are super clean and tidy, with ample space and good light. Windows have blinds as well. Despite getting rooms overlooking the street, no noise came through the closed windows at night, which made for a good sleep. The bed is large and comfortable. The room and bathroom are clean and nice. Breakfast is abundant. Various salads, eggs, bread, jams, ham and all you want, with the usual fresh Italian coffee. Fresh croissants can be ordered the night before. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Overall, this was a great experience and we thank everyone for their great service and kindness.
